Small businesses can take advantage of fixed rate electricity, Check to see if your municipality participates in Westchester Power – Community Participation Map
Developers or business utilize Clean Heating & Cooling solutions for gas constrained areas
Consider vehicle conversion to EV and a charging station in your own parking area.
Get your Chamber of Commerce involved and have Sustainable Westchester visit to provide information, ideas and available programs.

RESIDENTS ACTIONS

Check to see if your municipality participates in a Sustainable Westchester program and sign-on.
Community Participation Map
Investigate clean, renewable and efficient energy (via energy audits, Westchester Power or subscribe to a Community Solar project).
Building a new home or replacing old heating systems consider Clean Heating & Cooling technology, air or ground source heat pumps.
Recycle Right! learn more about how to reuse, reduce and recycle.
Get involved with your community’s sustainability committee – collaboration and community involvement are the keys to success.
Begin an initiative not yet supported in your community, ask us how.

MUNICIPALITIES ACTIONS

Join or maintain Sustainable Westchester membership.
Renewable energy is doable… choose or add an additional program as a municipality; Westchester Power or Community Solar or EnergySmart HOMES.
Choose a clean transportation initiative; take a leadership role and convert your fleets, install public charging stations and mobilize the community.
Non-demand municipal meters can take advantage of Community Solar and ask about our anchor municipal programs.
Recycle Right! App means municipal savings and results in resident education/participation, a big win for every community.
