Cathy started at Sustainable Westchester in February 2016 as Community Outreach Support for Westchester Power, New York State’s first Community Choice Aggregation Program (CCA), where she handled all customer inquiries and maintained customer databases. Taking advantage of her organizational and interpersonal skills, her responsibilities expanded to administrative support and oversight of customer service for all of the programs at Sustainable Westchester.
After a corporate career, Cathy took time off to raise her family and manage her household. She re-entered the workforce in the office of a local solar installer. This presented an opportunity to learn more about the environment, the benefit of recycling and sustainability initiatives. Now working at Sustainable Westchester, she finds it very rewarding to be able to participate in Westchester County’s contribution to New York State Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) goals.
Cathy has lived in Westchester County for thirty years. She has been a resident of Cortlandt Manor for the last twenty-five of those years, where she raised her two children and currently resides with her husband. She takes pleasure in sharing her knowledge of the available programs that Sustainable Westchester has in the County with family, neighbors and the community.
